Joy Behar, View host has denied rumors that her departure from ABC’s program is imminent.

The 79 year-old denied that she is quitting, and she revealed she has signed a third-year agreement with ABC.

Rumours circulated that Joy’s contract for three years expires this summer. Independent Journal Review claiming she was ready to retire “any day now,” ahead of her 80th birthday in October.

Joy’s representative denied the claims and told the New York Post: “Fake news.”

They announced that the new contract for the veteran panelist will keep her connected to the talk show through 2025.

Joy’s new contract is unknown. However, her previous deal was reported to have earned her $7million annually.

The original panelist for The View is the presenter, who joined The View 25 years ago.

She co-hosts with Whoopi goldberg, Sunny Hostin, and Sara Haines. Ana Navarro only appears once a week.

Joy moderates the Friday daytime show and fills in for Whoopi during Whoopi’s suspension in February for her controversial comments on the Holocaust.

When she experienced a terrifying fall live on-air in March, it caused concern.

Joy was walking towards the stage just before the show began when she fell to the ground.

Sunny and Sara, her co-hosts, captured her face-planting on camera. They gasped and raced to help her up.

The show’s moderator Whoopi also rushed over to tend to the veteran star, telling her to “come on, just stand.”

Sunny and Sara assisted Joy to her seat. Sunny was also a production assistant. Joy ran onstage to help.

Star was serious about her accident and advised anyone who has suffered a fall to keep an eye on their symptoms.

“The main thing – just to talk seriously – whenBob Sagetfell, he died,”She spoke.

“If you hit your head, and you feel dizzy, or you have blurred vision, or you feel like you want to go to sleep, go to the doctor. Because that will kill you.”

She said: “I’m a klutz.”
