The wait for some new music from your favourite BTS boys is finally over…

Last month, the boy band announced their hiatus. They said they would be focusing on their solo careers and finding their identity before reuniting.

If there’s one thing we know for sure – BTS don’t mess around when it comes to making music.

J-Hope is the first out of the seven-member group to release his own album, and look no further – we’ve got the track list right here.

Jack In The Box Tracklist

The name of J-Hope’s new solo album is ‘Jack In The Box’ – which according to his released clip, will include 10 songs.

The BTS star announced the track list in true J-Hope fashion, as each of the tracks appeared in trippy, funky coloured boxes – which might make you feel quite dizzy if you’re watching it on repeat.

The track listing is as follows:

  • 01. ‘Intro’
  • 02. ‘Pandora’s Box’
  • 03. ‘More’
  • 04. ‘Stop’
  • 05. ‘= (Equal Sign)’
  • 06. ‘Music Box: Reflection’
  • 07. ‘What if…’
  • 08. ‘Safety Zone’
  • 09. ‘Future’
  • 10. ‘Arson’

J-Hope worked closely with Kaws to design his album cover

As he is the first of the BTS boys to release an album, he has to make sure the cover was one to impress – and what better way than working with Kaws.

Kaws is an American professional artist and designer. He is best known for his creations of figurative characters. Kaws was able to transform the characters from 2D into 3D.

J-Hope shared with his Instagram followers details about his collaboration.

“I got to work on the album cover with@kaws, the great artist who I love and respect so much !!! I’ve always had a special place in my heart for him, so this project is that much more meaningful and a huge honor for me. I want to say once again how thankful I am to@kaws, who now I get to call both my great friend and colleague.”

BTS assured fans their hiatus isn’t forever

Fans will get music from the boys individually, but some are concerned it won’t be the same as BTS.

Other fans are worried that the hiatus will evolve into the group breaking up forever – as this happened with One Direction who announced their hiatus in 2015 and never returned.

However, BTS have reassured their listeners that this won’t be the case, and they will come back with a bang. Suga explained this during their FESTA Dinner: “It’s not that we’re disbanding, we’re just living apart for a while.”
