Nicole Richie Considers Expanding Her Family
Nicole Richie, of Simple Life fame, is contemplating adding to her brood as she finds herself amidst a family baby boom.
The television personality, who parents teenagers Harlow, 16, and Sparrow, 14 with her husband Joel Madden, recently mused about the idea of welcoming another child into her family.
The Baby Fever Grows
Speaking exclusively with E! News correspondent Will Marfuggi at the April 2 premiere of Don’t Tell Mom The Babysitter’s Dead, Nicole shared, “There’s so many new babies coming. Should I have another one?”
Although the House of Harlow founder promptly dismissed the notion, she left the possibility open for the future.
To Have Baby No. 3 or Not?
“Today, I do not,” clarified the 42-year-old about her current stance on expanding her family. “But ask me next week. I might feel left out, you never know.”
Despite Nicole’s uncertainty, she and Joel have been embracing the arrival of several new additions to their extended family. This includes Cardinal, the newborn son of Joel’s brother Benji Madden and his wife Cameron Diaz. Nicole described the baby as “the absolute cutest.”
Moreover, Nicole is eagerly anticipating becoming an aunt once again, as her sister Sofia Richie is expecting her first child with husband Elliot Grainge. Nicole expressed her excitement, saying, “I’m so excited I can’t even stand it.”
