ON September 21, 2021, the Dayton Police department revealed that they are investigating an officer involved shooting that happened in the area of Ingram St.
According to the police, the officer is stable and the suspect is critical.

Was a police officer shot in Dayton, Ohio?
One member of the Dayton Police Department received shots in the 600 block surrounding Lakeview Avenue.
A source close to the investigation told Dayton 247 Now that the office was shot in the head but was able to return fire.
They were both taken by Miami Valley Hospital, but their names are still unknown.
According to authorities, more information will be available later in the evening.
