The clip entitled “Travel Mistakes You Probably Didn’t Know Part 2” shows Safara telling guests to avoid using the iron in their room, even though it may be “nice and convenient”.
“Do not iron your clothes with the provided iron, especially on fine clothing”, warns the woman.
Hotel irons may not be cleaned in between guests, so there is a chance that you will have something nasty from the last guest.
Safara, a content creator from the UK, also criticised a new bizarre trend in which visitors try to cook foods such as quesadillas and pizza on the kits.
Safara offered an alternative method for testing iron cleanliness, along with a proven and tested way to do so.
She went on to say: “Instead of steaming your clothes, take a hot shower while you do so.
If you need to use the iron, try using it first on a towel that is wet before putting it on your clothing.
