- Cleaning from top to bottom
- The wrong products can damage marble and stones.
- Avoid cleaning the top, sides and underside of furniture
- It is a bad idea to clean the exhaust fans’ filters.
- Using products or scrubbing methods that are too harsh can damage the item instead of cleaning it.
- The cloths are not washed often enough
- Use of a sponge that is not designated for the toilet.
Her fellow professionals joined in to support and add a few tips.
Commenting on the thread, one said: “You have to clean more than just the front facing surfaces of things. When is the last time you cleaned the top edge of your refrigerator door?”
Another added: “Stuffing smaller items inside larger ones is not really cleaning or organising.
“Every item should have a designated spot. So don’t try to hide your things instead of organising them.”
