GOOGLE just launched a new feature to help online shoppers save some money.
Tech giant will now offer users discounts codes for product listings.
Normally, you need to hunt for vouchers by yourself. But this new development should make it much easier for bargain-hungry shoppers.
It couldn’t have come at a more appropriate time, with the current cost-of-living crisis in full swing.
When a person selects an item labeled with codes, they will see the code. “Special Offer”.
Google labeled items only if they were on sale, or had their price reduced.
The code for the change can be easily copied and pasted at the shop’s checkout.
Google states that the feature will be available soon “in the coming weeks”.
It’s not the only major change that revolves around shopping.
A price insight feature allows consumers to see if they’re getting a good deal.
It’ll show you how one merchant’s price compares to others’.
It will also tell you whether the product’s price is high, low, or typical.
An additional improvement is the possibility to compare deals side-by side.
It means if you search for a women’s puffer coat, for example, Google will display a side-by-side comparison of available puffer coat deals directly in your results, meaning less time researching for you.
