General Hospital (GH), spoilers, and updates reveals Emme Ryan has been confirmed positive for COVID! Rylan joins a long list of soap opera actors who have been infected with the virus over the last two years. It has been around for some time and although some soap stars may have been spared, Rylan has been fortunate to be alive until now.
General Hospital Spoilers – Emme Rylan Made The Announcement on Instagram
Rylan made the announcement in a video posted to her Instagram., “I made it… How long has this been going on? I made it two years without catching COVID. Until now. Oh my goodness. Don’t know where we got it. Jackson, me, and Don, we all have symptoms, I’m the worst one because I eat more vegetables than them and drink more water, and always get sicker. And work out more than them too. It’s so unfair! We’re okay-ish. I basically am coming out of a three-day straight fever,”She confessed, adding with a sarcastic wink that she was sick “super fun.”
Rylan, her fiance, and Jackson, her oldest son are all suffering from the symptoms. We wish them all a speedy recovery. Rylan isn’t the only soap actor to get the virus. Emma Samms (Holly Sutton), her former General Hospital star, also got the virus. She has been suffering from long-term complications. Her ex-brother Tyler Christopher (ex Nickolas Cassadine), recently confirmed that he had tested positive for the virus.
GH Spoilers – Other Soaps Stars Have Tested Positive
Jason Thompson (Billy Abbott), and Melissa Ordway (“Abby Newman Chancellor”, The Young and the Restless”) are just a few of the stars who have recently tested positive to covid. Both were nominated for the 49th Daytime Emmy Awards, June 24, 2022. They were both unable to attend the event and were quarantined, which meant they missed some time at work. Thompson was also affected by the fact that he missed the wedding of some dear friends.
Rylan played Lulu Falconeri in GH. She also played Abby Newman on Y&R and Lizzie Spaulding on Guiding Light. We wish her well and the whole family. Let’s hope this is the shortest covid experience for her and her beloved family.
