Elon Musk does not deny a report that he and a top executive welcomed twins last year. The Tesla CEO shared a series tweets on July 7 that seemed to confirm this news.

The outlet reports that Zilis and Musk filed two petitions to change the names of their children in Travis County, Texas, in March. “have their father’s last name and contain their mother’s last name as their middle name.”Business Insiderchose not to reveal the twins’ names due to privacy concerns. According to the news site, a judge approved Austin’s name change one month after Musk & Zillis filed their petition. Zilis and Musk never spoke publicly about their children.
According to her LinkedIn profile Zilis has been working for Musk’s companies since years. She is currently the director of operations at Neuralink. Musk is co-chief executive. The company develops brain-computer interfaces. Zilis was Tesla’s project director from 2017 to 2019. She is also a member of the OpenAI board, an artificial intelligence research organisation for which Mr. Musk was the founding chairman.
