Deadline confirmed that Denise Richards was involved with her husband Aaron Phypers in a road rage incident, where shots were fired at them.
The Real Housewives of Beverly HillsAn alum was sitting on the sidelines of her husband’s truck as he drove it. She was heading to L.A. for film work, so she took her wife along. The couple were looking for parking and slowed down. A driver behind them became angry and shot in their direction.
TMZ was first to reportPhotos showing bullet holes in the Ford F-150 truck were taken during the incident. The publication reports that “Denise powered through the emotions of it all and worked for 12 hours.”After her day at work, an off-duty officer from the police department escorted them out and they began their journey home.
Richards has yet to make an official statement regarding the incident. However, a source told PeopleThe Wild ThingsStar was “very shaken up”These are the events.
“She was very shaken up and terrified, but she was a trooper and she went and filmed the whole day,”The outlet was told by the source. “She didn’t want to not show up to work.”
According to the source, the couple didn’t realize they were being shot at until they arrived at the studio.
“The guy had taken off by then, but when they realized the car was shot, they were really freaked out, and the production secured the scene,”Source added “Even though they were upset, [Richards] decided to stay and film. Her role was just a one-day deal.”
