In the UK, there are approximately 5,500 brain-related and intracranial tumor deaths every year. That’s 15 per day.

The NHS states that there are many factors that can increase your risk of developing brain cancer. This risk increases as you age.

Baroness Jowell was a key player in the delivery of the London 2020 Olympics and served as culture secretary.

For the 10th anniversary of the event, a newly cut version of Danny Boyle’s Opening Ceremonies will be shown in hundreds of cinemas across the UK.

Tessa became the first person to talk about the illness publicly in September 2017.

Former MP for Dulwich & West Norwood stated that she was “not afraid”& wanted to make people aware of the reality of cancer.

She demanded a change to the rules of the NHS so that patients with cancer can take on the risk of receiving new treatments.

In a moving speech in the House of Lords on January 25, she spoke of suffering seizures in a taxi.

She had a brain tumour removed and was now receiving chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
