“Dead to Me”Christina Applegate, star of the movie “Star Trek: The Next Generation”, made her first public appearance after revealing her Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis in 2021. She was at Monday’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.

The actress’ star ceremony was originally scheduled in 2020, but the COVID pandemic set it back two years. Applegate DisclosureTwitter status of her health in 2021 while she was working on the third and last season of Netflix’s comedy series “Dead To Me,”In which she stars with Linda Cardellini, she has been nominated multiple Emmy Award nominees.

Applegate’s “Married…with Children”Katey Sagal, David Faustino and David Faustino were her co-stars before she took the podium.

“Humility, humor, fortitude, grace, bravery,”Sagal started her introduction. “I’ve watched you wear it all … No matter what, you kept showing up for yourself, but also most definitely for those that you love. Some of us come into this life requiring broad shoulders because what’s coming at us needs support to bear it … You came in with those shoulders and you carry the weight. You bend, but you don’t break.”

Cardellini and “Dead to Me”Liz Feldman, the co-creator, also attended the ceremony. They both gave speeches about Applegate.

Feldman spoke out about Applegate and her bond over conceiving children. Feldman also praised Applegate for being a lioness. Feldman also shared stories of her humor and called it that of “a 13 year-old boy”Her favorite word is “love” “butthole.”Feldman closed his eyes, looking at Applegate, and said, “I love your butthole.”

Cardellini began her tribute by explaining how she saw her role in “Dead to Me”Because she knew Applegate was already signed in.

“At some of my weakest moments, she has hugged me and looked me in the eyes and said ‘I’ve got you. We’ve got this,’” Cardellini said. “And you believe her, because she is exactly the person you want in your corner.”

Sagal assisted a barefoot Applegate to the stage, where she stayed during the actress’s acceptance speech. Applegate, who was just five years old at the time, recalled that she had always wanted a star to honor her actions since she was five.

“This day means more to me than you could possibly imagine,”She said. “I don’t say that I have friends. I am blessed with my family. They take care of me every single day of my existence.

Applegate paused, then teared up before she thanked her daughter Sadie.

“The most important person in this world is my daughter,”Applegate claimed. “You are so much more than even you know. You are so beautiful and kind and smart and interesting. I’m blessed every day that I get to wake up and take you to school … Thank you for standing by me through all of this.”

The third season “Dead To Me”Applegate will also be attending the premiere of the series on Nov. 15. Netflix has the series streaming in its entirety on Nov. 17.
