Capri Sunjuice Pouches Recalled for Possible Contamination

Kraft Heinz is recalling thousands of drink pouches that could be be contaminated with a cleaning solution, the company announced.

Capri Sun juice bags have been recalled in relation to nearly 6,000 cases, according to the company. The pouches, which are kid-friendly and weigh 6.6 ounces, may have been contaminated with a diluted cleaning agent that was accidentally introduced into one of its production lines.

Wild cherry-flavored juice drinks were the only affected flavor. Kraft Heinz advised buyers to return the pouches to purchase sites.

Consumers were also encouraged to verify the dates on pouches. The “Best When Used By”The June 25, 2023, date of the designation for the affected drinks.

According to the company, it is “actively working”Retailers should be contacted to request the removal of products from their shelves.

“The issue was discovered after we received several consumer complaints about the taste of the affected product,” Kraft Heinz said.
