BTS’ Jungkook is back with yet another song! The singer recently confirmed the release date and time for his new single, 3D which also features Jack Harlow.
Jungkook stole everyone’s heart when he released Seven ft Latto. Since then, fans have been hoping to get more from the singer before he heads out for his mandatory military enlistment. Luckily, Jungkook was quick to react to the wishes of his BTS fans and confirmed the details for his upcoming new single.
Release date and time for 3D explored
Jungkook’s new song is all set to release on Friday, September 29 at 1 p.m. KST/12 a.m. EST. The song will also feature Jack Harlow.
Hours before the collaboration was announced Jack had surprised fans with a tweet that read: “I’ll fly u from Korea to Kentucky.” Twitter users were quick to comment on the same with several people trying to decode the meaning behind it.
With the collab confirmed, some have been suspecting that it might be a line from 3D. However, neither Jack nor Jungkook have confirmed this.
What we know about the song
Jungkook first teased his new song at the Global Citizen Festival. Shortly after, BigHit Entertainment confirmed the news of a new single.
In their statement, the company noted: “Jungkook’s second solo single, ‘3D (featuring Jack Harlow),’ is a pop R&B track with clever expressions of feelings toward an unattainable person from the perspectives of first, second, and third dimensions. Get ready to meet an even more mature side of Jungkook following ‘Seven (featuring Latto).’
Recently, the company also released 2D concept photos for the upcoming songs.
Fans react to new music
ARMY were excited to hear that Jungkook will be coming out with new music. One fan wrote: “The fact 3D films have the word ‘HERO’ is so cool because we may witness a whole Hero character from Jungkook on this music video and that’s gonna be so intense. I can’t wait to see what his mind put on this!”
Another comment read: “I’m telling you from now on that Jungkook is coming with his new song “3D” and it will outperform “Seven” because it is clear that the thing he prepared is very strong and big and from now I see that “3D” is in first place on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.”
