Bruce Springsteen postpones his September shows to treat a Peptic Ulcer

Bruce Springsteen announced on Wednesday that he has cancelled all September concerts to take care of a stomach ulcer.

According to his reps, the decision was made on advice of doctors after the “Born to Run” singer was treated for “symptoms of peptic ulcer disorder.”

This postponement will begin with the show scheduled for the JMA Wireless Dome, Syracuse, NY, on Thursday. But the singer insisted on the tour.

“Over here on E Street, we’re heartbroken to have to postpone these shows. We apologize to all of our wonderful Philly fans that we have missed in the past few weeks. We’ll be back to pick these shows up and then some. Thank you for your understanding and support,” Springsteen in a Statement Postings on his social media pages.
