Bringing Up Bates stars Carlin and Evan Stewart are preparing to add a new little one to their family! They are expecting their second child, due April 9, 2022. Layla Rae, their big sister, will be joining the new baby. She turns two in January. Carlin shared recently that her tiny bump is beginning to show in her pregnancy.
Although Evan and Carlin only recently announced their pregnancy, they already have a few Instagram posts and YouTube videos of their baby. They are excited to grow their family.
When announcing their big news, the couple wrote:
“Every single part of the baby journey is worth it, and being parents is the best part of our story! Layla bug is the absolute joy of our lives and we can’t wait to see her become a big sister. Our new addition to the crew is honestly more exciting than we can truly express in words.”
Naturally, fans are thrilled about this big news. They can’t wait to “meet” baby Stewart number two. Fans are already asking questions about Carlin’s pregnancy and the couple’s plans for their new little one. In an Instagram comment, Carlin said that they haven’t decided whether they will find out the baby’s gender before birth. When they found out about Layla’s gender, they shared a cute gender reveal post on Instagram.

On her Instagram stories, Carlin recently posed in front of the mirror to show off her growing baby bump. Because she’s due in April, it’s not very big yet. But it’s starting to pop. The soon-to-be mother of two wore a brown sweater and a black midi skirt, with a slit. She also wore black heels. She snapped a couple of pictures with her hair pulled back.
She excitedly wrote, “Lil’ bump is starting to show.” TheBringing Up Bates star added a heart-eyed emoji to her caption. In another snap, Carlin is posing next to her husband Evan, who’s also all dressed up. He was her date and she referred to him that way. It looks like they were going out together. Layla can also be seen in the mirror of the second photo.
