Why did Billy Ray and Miley start a feud?
Billy Ray was married to Miley’s mum, Tish. They were together for over 30 years.
Miley is reportedly Team Tish when they called it quits the third time, in April 2022. (They divorced in 2010, and then reconciled in 2013, before filing again in both cases).
According to Tish’s divorce papers, the couple had been separated for more than two years. However, the reason behind the drama between Billy Ray, Miley and Tish is unlikely to be their separation.
It’s probably her future stepmother who is just four years older than her.
What is the reason for Miley’s and Billy Ray’s feud?
Her dad got engaged to a young Australian singer, Johanna Rosie Hodges. She was Miley’s younger sister.
Hodges is a singer who goes by Firesrose and is not that much older than Miley.
Billy Ray’s representatives told HITC She is 35 and Miley 30.
It was after engagement rumors spread that Miley’s father had been unfollowed on Instagram.
He has also stopped following her, but continues to follow her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth. Ouch.

What was the first time Billy Ray met Firerose?
Firerose met Billy Ray over a decade before when she was auditioning for Hannah Montana.
She told Kelly Ripa on Live with Kelly and Ryan: ” Since then, he’s been a phenomenal supporter of my music.”
He’s always told me not to give up and to keep going after my goals.
The music business isn’t easy but his support has been incredible.
