Bayern Munich is set to make a second massive bid for Harry Kane, despite the fact that they have already missed their deadline.

On Monday, it was revealed that Spurs turned down the third offer from Bundesliga champions after rejecting their two previous offers back in June and July.

The latest offer, submitted on Friday, was believed to be in the region of £86million. Reports suggested it was Bayern’s “final” attempt, having set Spurs a deadline to respond over the weekend.

It has been confirmed that TalkSPORT that Bayern will once more test Spurs’ resolve by launching a fourth bid for the England captain, which is expected to be worth around £94m.

The reported figure is still £6m short of Daniel Levy’s valuation of his talisman. The Tottenham chairman is known to be a hard negotiator and refused to budge on his £150m asking price when Manchester City showed interest two years ago.

Meanwhile, Bayern’s repeated attempts to sign the 30-year-old are a sign of their eagerness to sign an elite striker ahead of the new campaign. After Robert Lewandowski left, Bayern suffered a lot last season without a real No.9.

Harry Kane does not want to move even though he has agreed terms

Kane, who’s contract is up next summer, was reported to have agreed on personal terms in June with Bayern. The player has made public statements about his desire to win titles, which he’s yet to achieve in spite of reaching both the Carabao Cup and Champions League finals.

Tottenham’s top scorer of all time is also not pushing for a move. He was involved in Spurs’ tour of Australia and Singapore, captaining Ange Postecoglou’s side in all-three pre-season friendlies.

Tottenham’s manager has asked the club to solve the problem, but the striker has shown great form. He scored four goals in Sunday’s 5-1 win over Shakhtar Donetsk.
