A MUM OF 10 shared how she was trotted for her children’s SMILES. This just weeks after she disclosed that online bullies had criticised her spending on their food.

Alicia Dougherty is the matriarch for the Dougherty Dozen and shared the sad news on Instagram.

She stated that “people keep trolling my videos that they don’t like our smiles.” I guess I’m biased but I think they’re all 100 percent.

“Happiness is knowing that we are worthy to be our authentic, true selves.

“We see the bad. We ignore it.

“Because we know it comes from OTHER people’s insecurities and triggers. It’s not on us. It’s on them.

“I appreciate those of you who have checked in on us over the past few weeks as we’ve been massively trolled by unhappy, insecure people.

“I promise you, we are good.”

Alicia, a USA-based adoptive mother, regularly updates her Instagram accounts with updates about her six children.

She was also shocked when she displayed her food haul.

Trolls mocked a weekly grocery shop, which included 25 bananas, 5.5kg of chicken, and 191 packets crispys.

The total cost of the mountainous food shop was £876, adding up to around a hefty £45k food bill.

In the brief clip, she stated: “The following will provide enough food for us for nearly a week. Plus I needed to buy supplies for the boy’s football party later today.

“I did not get apples we’re going to go apple picking for those later. I did get produce including 25 bananas.”

She kept moving her camera through the enormous stacks of food, explaining what she’d bought.

She stated that she had a few snacks, including 191 packets of chips. A few boxes cereal, bread for the week.

“Dairy for the week including 14lbs of cheese, lunchables, coffee, some canned goods, meat including 12.5lb chicken. 6lb of pasta and a few random things and that’s all for today!”

A 2018 interview withPeopleAlicia and Josh revealed that all six of their adopted children suffer from behavioural problems and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders, which can make family life more difficult.

While they didn’t know this, Alex’s parents adopted him at age four. They then went on to help other children. “difficult behaviours.”
