A TikTok Influencer with Two Million Followers Stalked His Ex-Girlfriend
TikTok Influencer Stalking Ex-Girlfriend
A TIKTOK influencer with two million followers stalked his ex-girlfriend, a court heard. Thomas Hill, 29, was said to have bombarded Charlie Mullis with phone calls and texts and to have turned up unannounced when she was at work or at the gym.
Arrested for Threats of Self-Harm
He was arrested when she called police as he sat outside her home in his car for most of a day. Hill was allegedly threatening to kill himself.
Turbulent Relationship
The pair had been in a turbulent relationship for about a year, the Old Bailey heard. She ended it in January last year but he did not accept it.
Social Media Public Drama
Prosecutor Janet Weeks said: “He would broadcast the end of the relationship very much in the public eye on social media.” Hill, of Thamesmead, South East London, denies a stalking charge.
Creation of Fake Social Media Accounts
Hill was also said to have created a number of fake social media accounts in Ms Mullis’ name which he commented on along with videos of his own.
Self-Description as Influencer
He described himself online as a ‘Social Media Influencer based around the Automotive Industry’ with ‘2.3 Million [followers] across TikTok and Instagram.’ The trial continues.
