Photo of Offset and Quavo crying over Takeoff’s casket has fans in tears

On Friday, November 11, thousands paid tribute to Takeoff in Atlanta at a public funeral. Fans are still reeling from a photo of Quavo and Offset with his casket.

The Migos rapper’s Celebration of Life was held at the 21,000-capacity State Farm Arena, which is usually home to the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks and also used for music events.

Georgia residents were granted free tickets to the service. A number of stars, including Drake and Lil Yachy Cee Lo Green, attended, as well.

The venue had a no-phones or photography policy. However, images from the event, as well as photos taken during, and after it, have been posted online.

Offset and Quavo cry over Takeoff’s casket

The Photo was taken inside the State Farm Arena and sees Offset, Quavo and other family members standing around Takeoff’s casket.

They both are in tears as the 28 year-old is said farewell. He was not only their Migos friend but also a brother.

Offset and Quavo are cosuins and Quavo is Takeoff’s uncle. However, they were all raised by Quavo’s mother Edna Marshall and saw each other as siblings.

They all grew up in Edna’s home in Gwinett County, Atlanta, and Offset called her the “father figure”In a 2017 interviewRolling Stone.

Interview withFADERin 2013, Quavo said about Takeoff “we share everything, he’s basically like a brother,”While Takeoff was added “I don’t look at him as my uncle, but more as my brother.”

Throughout the service, Takeoff’s cakset sat at the foot of some stairs at the front of the Atlanta stadium and bouquets of flowers covered it.

Takeoff’s family is asking people to make donations toThe Rocket Foundation, which was created to honor Takeoff’s legacy and life, although his real name was Kirsnick Khari Ball.

Four different organizations will share the first round of funding. They are working together to find community-led solutions for ending gun-related violence.
