Heart Cancels European Tour Due to Medical Issue: Refunds Available

Iconic 80s band Heart has been forced to cancel their upcoming European tour dates due to a medical issue. The band, known for hits like Alone, Barracuda, and Crazy On You, announced the cancellation via their social media on May 30.

“We regret to inform you that all upcoming Heart performances in Europe are canceled,” the team wrote. “In late May, Ann Wilson will undergo a time-sensitive but routine medical procedure for which the minimum recovery time is six weeks.”

“Heart deeply regrets this unfortunate circumstance and hopes to return to Europe soon.” Refunds will be available at the point of purchase as applicable.

Ann Wilson later added her own comment after resharing the official statement, assuring fans that she will be in better shape soon. “I’m okay! Please don’t worry,” she wrote. “I do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. It’s certainly an inconvenience for me.”

European Tour Dates Canceled, North American Tour Dates Still On

While a third noted: “I hope all goes to plan! Wishing you a smooth recovery after the surgery. Hopefully, see you in London later this year or next!”

The band was due to tour Europe from June 20 through July 12, with Squeeze as the second on the line-up. As it currently stands, their North American tour dates, starting on July 30 through the end of the year, are still set to go ahead.
