While Classroom of The Elite season 3 will be released in 2023, there are plenty of anime content.
It is not surprising that the 2022 Summer broadcasting slate was dominated by fan favorites. So it is no surprise that the likes of Made in Abyss and Overlord occupy the top of the most-rated MAL shows of the current season.
This series, also known as COTE in this article, will end its season 2 later today with the release episode 13. Fans will then turn their attention to the third installment almost immediately after.
Some excellent news for fans of the series, Classroom of the Elite season 3 has already been confirmed, with the anime set to return in 2023 – here’s everything that fans need to know.

The third season of Classroom of the Elite is confirmed for 2023
Studio Lerche has renewed the anime adaptation of Classroom of the Elite (COTE), as previously mentioned.
Actually, the anime series’ third season was actually completed. ConfirmedAll the way back to March 2022, when the cast was revealed in a private LivestreamBoth seasons 2 and 3 were in development.
The third season of Classroom of the Elite will premiere in 2023. Although a specific release date has yet to be announced, fans can look forward to a return in April on the Spring slate, or, more realistically, in July 2023 on the Summer slate.
Whilst fans around the world will understandably be delighted to hear about COTE’s continuation, not many will have been too surprised to see the anime returning for a third semester.
Season 2 Episode 13 is available. Expected to adapt up until volume 7 of Shogo Kinugasa’s original light novel series. The good news? 11 complete Tankobon volumes are available as of September 20,22. Publiziert in Japan – technically 11.5 when including the bonus material.

Classroom of The Elite has been a hit with international viewers enough to merit a third season. The series scored an impressive 7.7/10 ahead of its season 2 finale. IMDB4.2/5 Anime Planet79% Anilist8.15/10 MyAnimeList.
Interestingly, these scores are all significantly higher than the first season’s ratings on these websites respectively, showcasing how COTE has not only been able to maintain its global popularity, but also increase it.

While fans are happy to hear that Classroom of the Elite season 3 has been released ahead of the 2023 release, what about the possibility of a second?
More COTE anime content is on the horizon
It was shared during the livestream that was mentioned with the COTE cast. “the anime will adapt the original story’s complete first-year-student arc.”
This is the meaning of ‘Year 1’Set of Shogo Kinugasa light novel volumes, the 11.5 volumes published between May 2015 – September 2019.
Considering that the anime has adapted seven of those total volumes, it is a reasonable assumption that season 3 will be the last season of Classroom of the Elite’s Year 1.
There is however a sequel, which focuses on the same characters from Year 2. This light novel series was also released 7 CompleteVolumes between January 2020 – June 2022
If the anime proves popular enough to warrant a continuation, then Classroom of the Elite season 3 is over.
The sequel could be attached to the original series. We might see the sequel made in the Seasons 4 or 5 of the main anime series.
