Comparison of Publix and Wawa Sub Sandwiches

Wawa offered a touchscreen kiosk that allowed customers to order sandwiches. The ordering process was easy and I liked that I could personalize my order.

My roast beef hoagie came with pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, garlic aioli and everything seasoning. It was very similar to everything bagel seasoning.

The flavor of the sandwich was overwhelming when I first tried it. The garlic aioli, everything seasoning and the bread were great additions.

Due to multiple moist ingredients, it became a bit soggy. This didn’t stop us from eating the whole sandwich.

Publix has a sub counter at its deli section that allows you to watch your sandwich being made right in front of you, instead of in a kiosk.

You can order a sandwich at the Publix counter.

Wawa’s kiosk was my favorite because I could see all customizations in one place without feeling rushed.

Publix offered a roast beef sub with wheat. I added pickles, cheddar cheese and tomatoes to my order. It was very similar to the Wawa order.
