That includes Ice Spice’s mom, Charina Almanzar, who, in August 2023, went viral on social media for her striking likeness to the rap sensation.
Spice’s mother, who is Dominican, first went viral in May this year after photos of her and Ice together in 2021 surfaced online. Many fans pointed out that the rapper and her mother are virtually ‘identical’ and look exactly alike.
“Y’all can have Ice Spice, I want her Moms,” one person wrote. “Which one is which??” another said.

Ice Spice’s parents are father, Joseph Gaston, and mother, Charina Almanzar, who had Ice, as well as her four other siblings, in the Bronx, New York City.
Ice’s father, who is African-American and a former underground rapper, reportedly met Almanzar, who worked at a car dealership, at a McDonald’s. In the past, Ice has indicated that she is Nigerian (as well as Dominican) but is unsure of her family’s tribe.
Ice Spice’s parents reportedly divorced when she was two years-old, but she has remained close to both.
