Chance feels that Chance cannot be the man Abby desires. Floyd’s character believes that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), whose voluntary donation allowed Abby’s biological child to be born, is the ideal man for her.
Devon was shocked when he heard that he needed to seriously examine his true feelings. Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morison) is broken but realistic. She believes that Devon is in love and with Abby.

TPTB has made a compelling decision to pair Abby and Devon since they have been close friends for many years. While they briefly dated years ago, there was no hard wink toward these characters becoming a couple, even when James’ character became the donor father.

Chance, like Amanda is an aggrieved side who quickly gains clarity. Chance was forced to realize that his insecurity did not stem from his growing awareness.
Chance’s talk with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) was intriguing. She has become the the town counselor, playing the role of a sitcom’s bartender who listens and offers solicited advice.
An obvious connection between Sharon and Chance would work. Case’s character is familiar with the police officer lifestyle and might have had enough time to be ready for love. Of course, no spark exists. However, this is daytime and it’s possible for something to happen.

Abby was often unhappy in her relationships. When she married Ben Stitch Rayburn, Sean Carrigan was her first serious relationship.
Devoted fans remember Abby telling Ben she doesn’t love him. The dialogue was intended to be a convenient way of writing Ben out of the series and was therefore questionable.
Just as Ordway’s character has developed nicely since that point in the plot, so too has Abby’s life become more complex. Dom would lose a man who was an integral part of his life through this divorce.
Abby and Devon care deeply about one another. Amanda emphasized that their bond is inextricable and they share a deep love for Dom. So, being with Devon may project as best for Dom on Y&R.
