These remarks come as CNN last week reported on Hannity\u2019s exchanges with Meadows following the 2020 presidential election.<\/p>\n<p>The text messages reveal that Hannity acted similar to a GOP operative, following Meadows\u2019 orders about Election Day initiatives to broadcast on his radio show and having his team \u201cdigging into the numbers\u201d that show voter fraud. In the texts, there was also discussion of doing a campaign ad for Trump\u2019s re-election bid.<\/p>\n<div class=\"tpd-read-more-container\" style=\"border-top:1px solid #e0e0e0;border-bottom:1px solid #e0e0e0; padding-top:15px;padding-bottom:15px; display:flex;margin-bottom:1.5em;margin-top:1.5em;\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/centralrecorder.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/I-Want-to-Know-Where-People-Are-Coming-From.jpg\" alt=\"Sean Hannity Passes Larry King as Longest-Running Cable News Host in History (Video)\" style=\"position: absolute;top: 0;left: 0;width: 100%;height: 100%;-o-object-fit: cover;object-fit: cover;\" title=\"\"><\/p><\/div>\n<p>On Friday\u2019s show, Hannity went on to say he needs to explain his job, because people don\u2019t understand that he is a member of the press, but that he does not consider himself a journalist.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI go out of my way to explain what my job is, because a lot of people in the media mob do not understand what we do,\u201d Hannity said. \u201cYes, I\u2019m a member of the press. \u2026 I\u2019m on the Fox News Channel \u2014 which is a news channel \u2014 but I don\u2019t claim to be a journalist. I claim to be a talk show host.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hannity added that he \u201ccan\u201d cover hard news and investigative reports, but he is \u201cupfront\u201d about who he is as a \u201cregistered conservative\u201d that voted for Donald Trump.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI make no apologies. I give my opinions straightforward.
