{"id":97051,"date":"2022-04-30T02:13:59","date_gmt":"2022-04-29T20:43:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/centralrecorder.com\/ant-man-3-and-the-marvels-swap-release-dates\/"},"modified":"2022-04-30T02:13:59","modified_gmt":"2022-04-29T20:43:59","slug":"ant-man-3-and-the-marvels-swap-release-dates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/centralrecorder.com\/ant-man-3-and-the-marvels-swap-release-dates\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Ant-Man 3&#8217; and &#8216;The Marvels&#8217; Swap Release Dates"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>In a small move that might still spark some wild nerd speculation and theories about the MCU Phase 4, Marvel has swapped the release dates of both \u201cAnt-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania\u201d and \u201cThe Marvels.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The third \u201cAnt-Man\u201d movie will now open in theaters Feb. 17, 2023, taking the slot previously occupied by \u201cThe Marvels,\u201d while Brie Larson\u2019s \u201cCaptain Marvel\u201d sequel will now move into the slot previously held by \u201cAnt-Man\u201d on July 28, 2023. <\/p>\n<p>Unchanged in between those is \u201cGuardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3,\u201d which is still opening May 5, 2023. And of course there\u2019s an untitled Marvel film slotted for Nov. 3, 2023. <\/p>\n<div class=\"tpd-read-more-container\" style=\"border-top:1px solid #e0e0e0;border-bottom:1px solid #e0e0e0; padding-top:15px;padding-bottom:15px; display:flex;margin-bottom:1.5em;margin-top:1.5em;\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/centralrecorder.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Can-Movie-Theaters-Move-Past-the-Blockbuster-or-Bust-Era.jpg\" alt=\"\u2018Avatar 2\u2019 Trailer Will Debut in Theaters With \u2018Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness\u2019\" style=\"position: absolute;top: 0;left: 0;width: 100%;height: 100%;-o-object-fit: cover;object-fit: cover;\" title=\"\"><\/p><\/div>\n<p>Nia DaCosta (\u201cLittle Woods,\u201d \u201cCandyman\u201d) is directing the \u201cCaptain Marvel\u201d sequel that will pair Brie Larson\u2019s Carol Danvers with Teyonah Parris as \u201cWandaVision\u201d star Monica Rambeau and Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, who is yet to make her debut in the upcoming \u201cMs. Marvel\u201d series. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnt-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania\u201d is directed by Peyton Reed and stars Sexiest Man Alive Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly, and the film will also feature Jonathan Majors as one of the baddies from \u201cLoki\u201d Kang the Conqueror and Bill Murray in an undisclosed role newly joining the cast. <\/p>\n<p>Disney, at its CinemaCon presentation Wednesday, shared the first 15 minutes of \u201cDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,\u201d which opens next Friday.
