All the while, these stories of playing God with the ultimate genetic tool kit have tended to come in around the same neighborhood of running times. But that looks like it\u2019s about to change, as <em>Jurassic World: Dominion\u2019s<\/em> runtime has reportedly been revealed, and combining Chris Pratt, Sam Neill, and the rest of the <em>Jurassic<\/em> family apparently called for a franchise record-setter.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This rumor comes from <a href=\"https:\/\/collider.com\/jurassic-world-dominion-run-time-2-hours-26-minutes\/\" data-url=\"https:\/\/collider.com\/jurassic-world-dominion-run-time-2-hours-26-minutes\/\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>Collider<\/u><\/a>, which has apparently confirmed the 2 hour and 26 minute runtime through \u201cmultiple sources.\u201d Should that be true, then director Colin Trevorrow\u2019s return in <em>Jurassic World: Dominion<\/em> will officially be the longest entry in the almost 30-year saga. For comparison, here\u2019s where each <em>Jurassic Park<\/em> movie would weigh in, if the sixth overall entry is the apex predator it&#8217;s supposed to be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Jurassic World: Dominion <\/strong>&#8211; 2 hrs, 26 mins<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Lost World: Jurassic Park\/Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom<\/strong> &#8211; 2 hrs, 9 mins<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jurassic Park<\/strong> &#8211; 2 hrs, 7 mins<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jurassic World<\/strong> &#8211; 2 hrs, 4 mins<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jurassic Park III<\/strong> &#8211; 1 hr, 32 mins<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<aside class=\"hawk-nest\" data-render-type=\"fte\" data-skip=\"dealsy\" data-widget-type=\"seasonal\"><\/aside>\n<p>Chris Pratt\u2019s previous promise that <u><em>Dominion<\/em><\/u><u> would be the <\/u><u><em>Avengers: Endgame<\/em><\/u><u> of the franchise<\/u> might have had people worrying about this very question. Potential flashbacks to that time Kevin Feige said <u>there wouldn\u2019t be time to pee during 2019\u2019s <\/u><u><em>Infinity Saga<\/em><\/u><u> capstone<\/u> probably swam through everyone\u2019s heads after reading those words for the first time. So if you were worried that the <em>Jurassic World<\/em> franchise was about to get a three-hour epic, you might be able to put those fears to rest.<\/p>\n<p>Though this running time has been \u201cconfirmed through multiple sources,\u201d there\u2019s always the chance that Colin Trevorrow\u2019s editing process is still underway. It doesn&#8217;t seem likely though, as the report that this alleged information came from is pretty confident about its validity. <a href=\"https:\/\/collider.com\/jurassic-world-3-preview-plot-colin-trevorrow-interview\/\" data-url=\"https:\/\/collider.com\/jurassic-world-3-preview-plot-colin-trevorrow-interview\/\" rel=\"noopener\">C<u>iting a previous interview with Trevorrow as backup<\/u><\/a><u>,<\/u> that very write up also had him saying that the <em>Jurassic World: Dominion<\/em> was finished and screened as far back as June 2021.<\/p>\n<p>If Colin Trevorrow is true to his previous word, the final cut is nestled safely somewhere in the Universal lot like a Velociraptor egg. There\u2019s probably just as much security surrounding it too, as this is <u>the big wrap to the second <\/u><u><em>Jurassic<\/em><\/u><u> trilogy<\/u>. More than likely, we\u2019ll see some sort of final say on the run time debate when advanced tickets go on sale for the movie. Which means that, at the time of this writing, there\u2019s plenty of time for HBO Max subscribers to revisit the first three <em>Jurassic Park<\/em> films as a start.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"hawk-nest\" data-model-name=\"HBO Max\" data-widget-type=\"review\" data-render-type=\"editorial\">\n<div class=\"hawk-main-editorialized\">\n<div class=\"hawk-review-subscriptions-container\">\n<p>Today&#8217;s best HBO Max deals<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/aside>\n<p>While we wait for an official confirmation on the length of <em>Jurassic World: Dominion, <\/em>there are some <u>things we already know about this third <\/u><u><em>Jurassic World<\/em><\/u><u> film<\/u>. Slated for release on June 10th, we\u2019re drawing ever closer to what\u2019s being promised as the end of an era for this blockbuster saga.
