This story discusses the February 17 episode of <\/strong><em><strong>Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer<\/strong><\/em><strong>, so proceed with caution if you\u2019re not caught up.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Steven McBee <\/strong>and <strong>Kurt Sowers <\/strong><u>narrowed their options down<\/u> to six in the latest episode of <em><strong>Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer<\/strong><\/em>, and while McBee hasn\u2019t given any solid indications about who he\u2019ll end up with, Sowers pretty much had his mind made up from the beginning \u2014 until this episode, possibly. Butler <strong>Martin Andrew<\/strong> invited the women\u2019s family and friends to Lakeshore Manor to meet the men and give the guys some insight into where the women came from. Then the <u>rebooted reality show<\/u> delivered a plot twist about <strong>Amanda Pace<\/strong> that might just change everything for Sowers.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"hawk-nest\" data-render-type=\"fte\" data-skip=\"dealsy\" data-widget-type=\"seasonal\"><\/aside>\n<p>The women welcomed their loved ones into the mansion and surprised them with the same news they\u2019d learned on Day 1: They were dating not one but two men on the show, and only one of them was worth $10 million. That\u2019s when Amanda Pace\u2019s mom Debbie dropped a bomb of her own \u2014 commenting under breath that their family was sitting on their own $10 million. WHAT?! Amanda\u2019s rich? Forget <em>Joe Millionaire \u2014 <\/em>we\u2019ve been <em>JANE<\/em> <em>Millionaired!\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Amanda Pace was quick to inform her family that she hadn\u2019t revealed her wealth to anyone in the house, because \u2014 like multimillionaire Steven McBee \u2014 she wanted to find love without her money being part of the equation. The fact that Pace comes from money is particularly interesting, given that she\u2019s close to Kurt Sowers \u2014 the \u201cpoor\u201d Joe. Pace is likely the only woman who stands a chance with Sowers other than <u>front-runner <\/u><u><strong>Carolyn Moore<\/strong><\/u>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>For her part, Carolyn Moore invited a friend, rather than family, to the mansion to meet Kurt Sowers, and even more than Amanda Pace\u2019s money reveal, that might have been what really set Moore back. That\u2019s not to fault Moore if she doesn\u2019t have family, or no one was able to travel to the show, but even Steven McBee noted how disappointed Sowers was that he didn\u2019t get to meet any of her family.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If Carolyn Moore had pulled Kurt Sowers aside to explain her situation, that might have helped progress their relationship, but that doesn\u2019t appear to have happened \u2014 even off-camera \u2014 since <u>Sowers told his friend<\/u> he didn\u2019t feel like he\u2019d learned anything new about Moore that night.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, as far as private conversations went, Carolyn Moore\u2019s friend talked to Kurt Sowers about her child and ex-husband as if Sowers was the one avoiding the conversation. Sowers admitted that he didn\u2019t know how their future together would work, but isn\u2019t that because Moore refuses to talk about it?<\/p>\n<p>Either way, Amanda Pace made big leaps tonight, especially with the way that Kurt Sowers bonded with her family. Sowers <u>downplayed the money angle<\/u> \u2014 they\u2019re all there to find love, right? <em>RIGHT?! <\/em>\u2014 but let\u2019s be real. Nobody\u2019s <em>disappointed<\/em> to find out the guy or girl they\u2019re interested in is wealthy.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Next week, it\u2019s the ladies\u2019 turn to meet the families, as the group will travel to meet Kurt Sowers\u2019 and Steven McBee\u2019s mothers. That\u2019s going to be a huge test, because nobody\u2019s as honest as a mom when it comes to her son.
