One bar in Ireland is fining customers for mentioning Covid, and then taking the money to donate it to charity. Irish Central<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n The Alt Bar in County Donegal is charging \u20ac2 (about $2.29) for each time Covid is brought up in barroom banter among patrons and putting the money\u00a0in its “COVID fine jar,”Donegal Hospice and Irish Central will receive all proceeds<\/p>\n On Jan. 7, The Alt Bar sent out a warning to their patrons and a new rule via their Facebook Page.<\/p>\n You also don\u2019t need to be in Ireland or around County Donegal to donate to Donegal Hospice as the bar has provided a GoFundMe link to raise \u20ac1,000.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat started off as a bit of light hearted fun has turned into a good way to raise funds for a good cause.
