It is currently being produced by Netflix. Production is scheduled to start this month in the UK.<\/p>\n<p>Cumberbatch is set to play Sugar, details about Fiennes, Patel, and Kingsley\u2019s roles are unknown. Last year, Netflix acquired the Roald Dahl Story Company in a deal which gives the streamer the rights to Dahl\u2019s entire catalog. <\/p>\n<div class=\"tpd-read-more-container\" style=\"border-top:1px solid #e0e0e0;border-bottom:1px solid #e0e0e0; padding-top:15px;padding-bottom:15px; display:flex;margin-bottom:1.5em;margin-top:1.5em;\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/centralrecorder.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Benedict-Cumberbatch-Cast-in-Wes-Andersons-\u2018The-Wonderful-Story-of.jpg\" alt=\"Benedict Cumberbatch, Ralph Fiennes, Dev Patel, Ben Kingsley (Getty Images)\" style=\"position: absolute;top: 0;left: 0;width: 100%;height: 100%;-o-object-fit: cover;object-fit: cover;\" title=\"\"><\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u201cThe Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar and Six More\u201d is a collection of seven short stories written by Dahl and are generally regarded as being aimed for a slightly older audience than many of his other children\u2019s books.<\/p>\n<p>Anderson has now directed this Dahl project, having previously directed the Oscar nominated animated film. \u201cThe Fantastic Mr. Fox.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cumberbatch is currently starring in Dr. Stephen Strange&#8217;s worldwide smash hit. \u201cSpider-Man: No Way Home,\u201dYou will be the star of this movie \u201cDoctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness,\u201dIt is expected to be released in May 2022. <\/p>\n<p>UTA reps Anderson and Cumberbatch. CAA is represented by Kingsley and Fiennes. WME is representing Patel.
