{"id":62786,"date":"2022-01-05T06:58:00","date_gmt":"2022-01-05T01:28:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/centralrecorder.com\/81-year-old-minnesota-woman-violently-robbed-while-shopping-speaks-out\/"},"modified":"2022-01-05T06:58:00","modified_gmt":"2022-01-05T01:28:00","slug":"81-year-old-minnesota-woman-violently-robbed-while-shopping-speaks-out","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/centralrecorder.com\/81-year-old-minnesota-woman-violently-robbed-while-shopping-speaks-out\/","title":{"rendered":"81-Year-Old Minnesota Woman Violently Robbed While Shopping Speaks Out"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>An 81-year-old Minnesota woman is speaking out after being violently attacked while out shopping.<\/p>\n<p>Shocking video shows the would-be thief grab Judy Stuthman\u2019s purse and drag her down to the concrete as she was heading into a Walgreens to stock up for Christmas brunch.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI felt something brush against me, and I realized someone was trying to take my purse,\u201d Stuthman told .\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was extremely shocked,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n<p>Stuthman suffered a concussion in the attack and spent the holidays in the hospital with bleeding in her brain.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Police posted a video of the brazen assault asking for the public\u2019s help. According to police, a woman recognized the suspect as her son, who was then arrested and charged with\u00a0aggravated robbery and assault.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt took a tremendous amount of courage and love for her to hope her son turns his life around, and I hope he does,\u201d Stuthman said.<\/p>\n<p>But the suspect&#8217;s mother later recanted her story, saying her son was home at the time of the attack.<\/p>\n<h2><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An 81-year-old Minnesota woman is speaking out after being violently attacked while out shopping.
