Production is set to start in Italy in the late spring of 2022. <em>Gomorrah<\/em>Cattleya is now an executive producer. More casting is underway.<\/p>\n<p>Cornerstone has cut deals with\u00a0Signature (UK),\u00a0Square 1 (Germany, Austria, Switzerland),\u00a0Dea Planeta \/ Tripictures (Spain),\u00a0Scanbox (Scandi), and BF Distribution (Lat Am).<\/p>\n<p>Pre-sales have also closed with Unicorn Media (CIS), Vertical (Eastern Europe), Monolith (Poland), Blitz (Former Yugoslavia), Belga (Benelux) and\u00a0Tanweer (Greece and Turkey).<\/p>\n<p>Studio representatives are currently negotiating sales to other territories, including Australia, New Zealand, France and Portugal, Middle East and Israel, as well as the rest of the world.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"markpfu4i57ke\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">Cornerstone<\/span>\u00a0is handling international sales and CAA Media Finance is overseeing the U.S. sale.<\/p>\n<p><i>Mafia Mamma<\/i>\u00a0is a Vocab Films, IDEA(L) and New Sparta production based on an original idea by French novelist, screenwriter and filmmaker\u00a0Amanda Sthers.\u00a0It is produced by Collette under her Vocab Films banner together with Sthers through IDEA(L) and New Sparta\u2019s Christopher Simon.\u00a0Debbie Jhoon wrote the screenplay and Michael J.
