Jimmy Kimmel revealed on Thursday&#8217;s late-night program that the special of 90 minutes will recreate episodes from comedies <em>Diff\u2019rent Strokes<\/em>Its spinoff <em>Facts of Life<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The live event will air from 8-9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 7.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0cast for the\u00a0<em>Diff\u2019rent Strokes<\/em>The re-do is fascinating: John Lithgow will portray Mr. Drummond, Kevin Hart portrays Arnold, Damon Wayans is Willis, Ann Dowd portrays Mrs. Garrett. The <em>Facts of life <\/em>Cast is TBA<\/p>\n<p><em>Live before a Studio Audience<\/em>\u2018s executive producers Norman Lear, Jimmy Kimmel, Brent Miller, Kerry Washington, Will Ferrell, Justin Theroux and Jim Burrows are returning for this round.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOther than with my family, there\u2019s no place I\u2019d rather be in my 100th year than on a soundstage at Sony with these glorious actors reliving what our company had produced all those years ago and sharing it with the millions of viewers who could use a little laughter,\u201dLear stated.<\/p>\n<p>Former Child Stars \u2018The Facts Of Life\u2019&amp; Other Shows Gather For \u2018Stars In The House\u2019<\/p>\n<p><em>Diff\u2019rent Strokes\u00a0<\/em>The series aired from 1978 to 1985 on ABC and featured Conrad Bain and Dana Plato, Gary Coleman and Todd Bridges. <em>Facts of Life\u00a0<\/em>The series debuted in 1979 and ran through 1988. Its evolving main cast included Rae \u2014 whose Mrs. Garrett character was the link between the two sitcoms \u2014 Mindy Cohn, Nancy McKeon and Lisa Whelclel.<\/p>\n<p>Charlotte Rae is gone: Charlotte Rae was a mother on the house \u2018The Facts Of Life\u2019Was 92<\/p>\n<p>The first two installments of Sony Pictures Television\u2019s <em>Live in front a Studio Audience<\/em>Episodes of Lear classics re-created <em>All in the Family<\/em>Its spinoff<em>The Jeffersons<\/em>Spring 2019, and a new <em>All in the Family<\/em>Episode was remade with one of its innovative spinoffs. <em>Good Times<\/em>That winter.<\/p>\n<p>The special will be broadcast on ABC for one night, and then it will be streamed on Hulu the next day.<\/p>\n<p><em>Live in Front of a Studio Audience: The Facts of Life and Diff\u2019rent Strokes<\/em> will be produced by Kimmelot, ACT III Productions, Gary Sanchez Productions, D\u2019Arconville, Simpson Street and Sony Pictures Television.
