{"id":29533,"date":"2021-09-23T11:22:26","date_gmt":"2021-09-23T05:52:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/centralrecorder.com\/?p=29533"},"modified":"2021-09-23T11:22:26","modified_gmt":"2021-09-23T05:52:26","slug":"boa-constrictor-found-bleeding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/centralrecorder.com\/boa-constrictor-found-bleeding\/","title":{"rendered":"Boa constrictor found Bleeding On Road amid Village Using snake dumping ground!"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p class=\"lead-content__sub-title\">Residents living in a Shropshire hamlet were left spooked after warnings the area could be being used as a place to abandon exotic pets<\/p>\n<div class=\"lead-content__lead-element lead-content__lead-element--image\"><span class=\"caption\">The six-foot snake was found abandoned on the road<\/span><\/div>\n<nav class=\"inline-nav\"><\/nav>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><!-- Article Start--><\/p>\n<p>Residents of a quiet Shropshire hamlet were left horrified after a six-foot-long boa constrictor was seen crawling along a country lane.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, the snake was seen bleeding from its jaw and coughing up blood near a layby on B5062 in Roden.<\/p>\n<p>RSPCA was called to the scene following the discovery of the constrictor&#8217;s broken jaw by two motorists.<\/p>\n<p>Officers were able safely to contain the reptile with a large cover and a hook using a specialist pole. The snake was then taken to the vets for pain relief, but he died that night.<\/p>\n<p>Another long-deceased snake of similar size was found nearby. I don&#8217;t want live 6ft snakes slithering around the village.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another added: &#8220;This is literally the stuff of my nightmares. My skin is crawling just thinking about it.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"image-container\" data-redesign-embed=\"true\"><span class=\"caption\">The RSPCA believes the quiet country lane could be being used as a dumping ground for unwanted pet snakes<\/span><\/div>\n<p>A third person added: \u201cYou\u2019ve got to think about these poor reptiles too, they won\u2019t last long in our weather without the proper care.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In response, someone wrote: \u201cExactly, they will be hungry. And that\u2019s why I don\u2019t want to let my pet out.
