GABBY Petito’s fianc\u00e9 Brian Laundrie is reportedly missing as his attorney says police are now searching for both people.<\/p>\n
Officers with the North Port Police Department entered\u00a0Laundrie’s Florida home on Friday night to speak with his family, but Laundrie\u00a0was nowhere to be found.<\/p>\n
His lawyer stated that Brian Laundrie’s whereabouts are unknown.<\/p>\n
“The FBI is currently at the Laundrie residence removing property to assist in locating Brian. As of now, the FBI is looking for both Gabby and Brian.”<\/p>\n
As protesters gathered outside the North Port home, near Fort Myers, to demand answers, officers entered the house.<\/p>\n
Petito, 22, has been missing for two weeks after going on a cross-country road trip with her fianc\u00e9.<\/p>\n
Gabby and her boyfriend had planned a road trip through Colorado,\u00a0Utah, and\u00a0Wyoming\u00a0that would finish in Yellowstone.<\/p>\n
The New Yorker was last seen on August 24 after leaving a hotel in Salt Lake City,\u00a0Utah,\u00a0with Laundrie. Her family held a joint media conference with Florida police on Thursday to focus on her disappearance.<\/p>\n
While Gabby never returned home,\u00a0her fianc\u00e9 did and has since made headlines\u00a0after he reportedly hired an attorney and refused to work with the police.<\/p>\n

It is important to note that while Brian is a person of interest in Gabby\u2019s disappearance, he is not wanted for a crime,\u201d Officer Taylor added in a statement Friday.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are not currently working a crime investigation. For six days, the North Port Police Department and the FBI have been pleading with the family to contact investigators regarding Brian\u2019s Fianc\u00e9 Gabby Petito,” authorities said.<\/a><\/p>\n Friday “is the first time they have spoken with investigators in detail,” they added.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n FBI SEARCHING FOR BOTH GABBY AND BRIAN<\/p>\n Police have said they are “now working a multiple missing person investigations,” according to local journalist Brian Entin.<\/p>\n They added: “It is important to note that while Brian is a person of interest in Gabby\u2019s disappearance, he is not wanted for a crime.
