As holidaymakers head abroad this summer, the age-old problem of sun lounger battles has once again reared its head at hotel resorts. Brits on vacation are often guilty of trying to “hog” sun loungers, with some even going to extremes by arriving as early as 6am to reserve a prime spot.<\/p>\n
Recently, a group of tourists faced backlash for their sun lounger reservation antics at a popular resort. Tourist Paul Hitchcock, a frequent visitor to Benidorm, publicly criticized a group for stacking up multiple deckchairs and then occupying all of them. The image shared on social media depicted two tourists sprawled across at least three deckchairs each, which were stacked on top of one another and covered with towels.<\/p>\n
