Spice’s (real name Isis Naida Gaston) meteoric rise has not impacted her private life. <\/p>\n That includes Ice Spice\u2019s mom, Charina Almanzar, who, in August 2023, went viral on social media for her striking likeness to the rap sensation.<\/p>\n Spice\u2019s mother, who is Dominican, first went viral in May this year after photos of her and Ice together in 2021 surfaced online. Thousands of people reacted in the comments remarking on how \u2018gorgeous\u2019 Ice Spice\u2019s \u2018replica\u2019 mom is, and how they actually look more like sisters.<\/p>\n \u2018She\u2019s so gorgeous omg,\u2019 one fan commented.<\/p>\n \u2018Mama Spice is a beaut\u2019, another added.<\/p>\n \u2018She so cool, someone else said.<\/a><\/p>\n Ice Spice\u2019s parents are father, Joseph Gaston, and mother, Charina Almanzar, who had Ice, as well as her four other siblings, in the Bronx, New York City.<\/p>\n Ice\u2019s father, who is African-American and a former underground rapper, reportedly met Almanzar, who worked at a car dealership, at a McDonald\u2019s. In the past, Ice has indicated that she is Nigerian (as well as Dominican) but is unsure of her family\u2019s tribe.<\/p>\n Ice Spice\u2019s parents reportedly divorced when she was two years-old, but she has remained close to both.<\/p>\n \u201cMom\u2019s a baddie, so she knows what it is,\u201d the rapper told Apple Music<\/a> “But my pops, though.
