He was a mere two-years after the news of his death broke. <u>CBS will bring two shows new to its programming lineup<\/u> He has now got four new projects under his Cloud Nine production company and television veterans like <em>Lost<\/em>  <em>The Daily Show<\/em> To their names are involved.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Cloud Nine Productions has sold four projects to Eric Christian Olsen\u2019s longtime network, and <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2022\/11\/eric-christian-olsen-cloud-nine-cbs-comedy-al-madrigal-1235178896\/\" data-url=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2022\/11\/eric-christian-olsen-cloud-nine-cbs-comedy-al-madrigal-1235178896\/\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>Deadline<\/u><\/a> Two comedies, and two dramas, are currently in development according to reports. Television&#8217;s serious side is represented by <em>Peculiar<\/em> This crime drama is from <em>Lost<\/em> Jeffrey Lieber is co-creator <em>America 2.0<\/em> writer\/director\/producer JS Mayank as executive producers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<aside class=\"hawk-nest\" data-render-type=\"fte\" data-skip=\"dealsy\" data-widget-type=\"seasonal\"><\/aside>\n<p>A crime drama seems like a project that would be right up Olsen\u2019s alley, as he\u2019s currently on his thirteenth season as a series regular on <em>LA: NCIS<\/em>Jeffrey Lieber is a star credit with this organization <em>Lost<\/em>. <em>Peculiar<\/em> The scene would see a Seattle detective teaming up with a gifted psychopath in an effort to solve crimes that have been committed by his ex-partner. This has not happened. <em>NCIS<\/em> It sounds like a franchise <em>Peculiar<\/em> It would be a standout among crime dramas, if the series order is granted!<\/p>\n<p>Although it is not yet given a title, the other drama that&#8217;s in production is legal and not crime. Few details are available about the project, but a legal drama could fill a vacancy for CBS in the wake of Michael Weatherly\u2019s <em>Bull<\/em> <u>Coming to an End<\/u> Six seasons later. Plus, NBC now has <em>Law &amp; Order<\/em> franchise that has been going strong for decades, so perhaps there\u2019s a market for a new legal drama on CBS.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Shows like <em>Young Sheldon<\/em>  <em>Ghosts<\/em>CBS is a well-respected network for comedies. The two projects currently in development will make CBS even more fun. <em>The Daily Show<\/em>\u2019s Al Madrigal is behind a Latinx comedy called <em>Family Insurance<\/em> A story about a man that must return to work in order to keep his family business thriving. If ordered to serialize, Madrigal will star as well as write and produce.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>CBS Studios also bought another sitcom called <em>Mixed Signals<\/em> It would feature a romance comedy that was inspired by Liv Thompson&#8217;s life and the relationship she has with her partner deaf. Thompson has been asked to executive produce and write if the project is successful. <em>Mixed Signals<\/em> Joins CBS as a member of the lineup.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s too early to say if any of these shows will get a series order and make it to CBS, but Eric Christian Olsen\u2019s Cloud Nine production company may have found some recipes for success. The company has previously developed and produced. <em>Woke<\/em> Hulu, which ran it for two seasons <u><em>The New Girl<\/em><\/u><u> Lamorne is the leading man for alum Lamorne<\/u>.<\/p>\n<p>The future of these new projects will only be known in time, but Eric Christian Olsen can be found at the <em>LA: NCIS<\/em> Season 14 Fall Finale on Sunday November 27, 2010 at 10 p.m. ET on CBS. The last episode of this long-running drama will air on CBS.
