KNOWN FOR THEIR hit songs, Migos fans were stunned to hear the group split.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Quavo, Takeoff, his nephew and Migos member, and Offset, his cousin, decided to end the relationship and pursued other projects.<\/p>\n

Why did Migos break up?<\/h2>\n

Quavo and Takeoff teased an upcoming single on their album Only Built For Infinity Links, May 11, 2022.<\/p>\n

Offset was not contributing to the campaign, as a result, music lovers with keen eyes noticed.<\/p>\n

Rumours circulated that Offset was not present at the project and that Migos planned to separate.<\/p>\n

The speculation continued as the trio withdrew from the 2022 Governor’s Ball in June.<\/p>\n

At this point, Offset and Cardi B decided to unfollow Quavo on social media. This sparked reports.<\/p>\n

Fast forward to Monday, Oct. 3, and Quavo & Takeoff reveal they plan to continue as a trio rather than the trio that made them so popular.<\/p>\n

Quavo shared the following: Big Facts<\/a>Podcast: “We would like to see our careers as a duo.”<\/p>\n

“We came from a loyal family that’s supposed to work together and you’re supposed to stick together, but sometimes when s**t don\u2019t work out, it’s not meant to be.<\/p>\n

“We stand on loyalty and sometimes that s**t ain\u2019t displayed. Right now we gon\u2019 be the duo till time tell.”<\/p>\n

Takeoff made the following comment: “We don\u2019t know all the answers. We pray a lot, so only time will tell.”<\/p>\n

The trio became a duo on Friday, October 7.<\/p>\n

The last project the family band did together was Culture III, which was released June 2021.<\/p>\n

Are there any Migos left?<\/h2>\n

Quavo<\/h3>\n

Quavo’s solo projects are also successful outside of Migos.<\/p>\n

He released Quavo Huncho in 2018 as his first solo record. This album featured guest appearances from Madonna and Drake.<\/p>\n

He also appeared on tracks by Justin Bieber, Fivio Foreign and DJ Khaled.<\/p>\n

Quavo was confronted with tragedy on November 1, 2022 when Takeoff was shot in Houston, Texas.<\/p>\n

Takeoff was also a solo artist before his death.<\/p>\n

Listeners around the world were able to download his solo album The last rocket in November 2018.<\/p>\n

His 2022 songs were joint singles with Quavo such as Hotel Lobby (Unc & Phew), Us vs Them, Big Stunna, and Nothing Change.<\/p>\n

Takeoff shared his thoughts on the album release with Quavo. VIBE<\/a>: “We\u2019ve been here, like I said, for almost a decade. We are here. We ain\u2019t going nowhere.<\/p>\n

“This is a real blessing that we got and real love, for music that we got and we here to stay and we ain\u2019t going nowhere.<\/p>\n

“We just made it feel pure and just real organic, and just like ain\u2019t nothing changed.”<\/p>\n

Takeoff was taken to the hospital after the shooting incident of November 1, 2022.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, the hip-hop icon was shot in the head and declared dead.<\/p>\n

Offset was similar to his cousins and released his own solo album years before the trio split up.<\/p>\n

His album Father of 4 was released in February 2019 to all listeners.<\/p>\n

After his split with Migos, and the legal problems with Quality Control Music, Offset signed for Motown Records.<\/p>\n

His second solo album Blame It on Set will be released November 11, 2022.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
