A FUMING WOMAN was upset after her trip to Disneyland was canceled because her niece had deliberately ripped her passport.

The 21 year-old girl, who was originally from the UK, booked a trip for her and her friends to Paris, which included a trip through Disneyland Paris.

J, J’s six-year old niece, was unhappy that J couldn’t go. That’s where the problems started.

She wrote Reddit: “This wasn’t good enough for J so she started whingeing, and then screaming, so my sister took her home.”

Her sister, however, brought her niece and 2-year-old nephew to the airport just a day before she was scheduled to fly.

She continued, “I was packing my luggage and had all my things spread out around my room. My passport was on my desk but it was gone when I went to pack it.”

“We finally found it in the possession of my nephew, and he’d ripped through the page with my photo rendering it useless.

“When my sister inquired about it, he replied that J had given it.

“My sister started interrogating J and she finally admitted that it wasn’t fair that I got to go to Disney and she didn’t, so she gave it S and told him they were playing hide and seek with it.”

The woman was left fuming and not only was she £725 out of pocket, but she wasn’t able to go as she didn’t have time to get an emergency passport.

She said that she had asked her sister for money back. But she refused, as it would require them to use the money they’d saved for Christmas presents.

She asked Reddit for help if she was wrong and everyone agreed with her.

One person wrote: “A loss of some Christmas gifts would be a lesson to them, at least the older one who knows better, and to the parents.”

Another person said: “Your niece very deliberately prevented you from taking a vacation you paid for. Of course they should pay you back everything you paid for your trip.”

An additional third: “Parents are responsible for the actions of their children, regardless of how expensive those actions are.”

Later on, she said that her friend had bought presents for her young nephew.
