Latest<\/strong>New York Post: A rogue employee is responsible for the hacking of their Twitter accounts and websites that resulted in racist, violent, or sexually explicit messages. <\/p>\n \u201cThe New York Post\u2019s investigation indicates that the unauthorized conduct was committed by an employee,\u201dThe Post stated in a statement that \u201cand we are taking appropriate action. This morning, we immediately removed the vile and reprehensible content from our website and social media accounts.\u201d<\/p>\n Original story<\/strong>: On Thursday morning, the website and Twitter accounts of The New York Post were hacked. This led to racist headlines and explicit comments against multiple politicians. <\/p>\n The hack saw prominent Democrats such as President Joe Biden, Hunter and Queens Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, New York City Mayor Eric Adams, and New York Governor. The hacker also edited stories on the website, adding false claims that right-wing pundit Ben Shapiro recommended Ocasio-Cortez\u2019s assassination, among others.<\/p>\n The hack extended its vitriol to Republicans, as well, posting a headline claiming that Hochul\u2019s GOP election challenger Lee Zeldin made sexually explicit threats against Hochul and racist insults against Eric Adams. Another headline was directed at Texas Governor.
