After allegedly stealing more than $1,000 from Walmart over several month, a Michigan woman was charged with first-degree fraud in retail.<\/p>\n
TeddyJo Marie Fliam was 34 when he confronted him by Walmart loss prevention associate July 1. He said he noticed Fliam didn’t scan items while she checked out in self-checkout. Statement<\/a>Police.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Police say Fliam became angry when Fliam confronted her as she fled and she denied that Fliam was stealing.<\/p>\n Police allege that Fliam had not scan over $1,000 in merchandise since April 2022 after reviewing the footage at the self-checkout.\u00a0<\/p>\n Police reported that Fliam was then called by the Walmart associate who called police to report retail fraud.<\/p>\n According to the police report, Fliam was detained at her residence on Sept. 29 after Fliam was granted an arrest warrant by the county prosecutor.\u00a0<\/p>\n Police said Fliam was arrested for one count in first-degree retail fraud.\u00a0<\/p>\n
