He died at 7:50 AM at his home in Lackford.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Tim was a hugely experienced and highly talented broadcaster with an army of fans for his daily\u00a0show,&#8221;Read the release. &#8220;He is a very sad loss to radio and the county of Suffolk.\u00a0The entire GenX Radio family are shocked and devastated beyond words.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>James Hazell<\/strong>GenX Radio Suffolk&#8217;s Managing Director, Claude Gough, described Gough, a broadcaster with over 40 years of experience, and stated that the station was &#8220;very well-run.&#8221; &#8220;heart broken by the news&#8221;It was his death.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;To know Tim personally, as I did very closely for over 30 years, was to know a warm, caring, fun guy\u00a0who myself and my family loved dearly,&#8221;Hazell did not stop. &#8220;I know his family are enormously comforted by the hundreds of loving messages that have been\u00a0received and have asked for privacy at this devastating time.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Radio broadcasting is in mourning for a veteran.
