Video of preschool-aged children screaming terror at a worker in a tuxedo. \u201cScream\u201dThey yelled at each other.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAre you being bad? Do I need to take you outside?&#8221; the worker in the mask said.<\/p>\n<p>The workers involved were fired, and the daycare has since been shut down. Four of them were charged with felony child abuse, while a fifth worker was charged with a misdemeanor of simple assault and failing to report abuse.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Jessie Reeves, a working mom of six children, says her 3-year-old daughter Jaxie is still traumatized and has been drawing pictures of the \u201cmonster.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd she says, \u2018This is a mask, momma. This is a monster,\u2019\u201d Reeves said.<\/p>\n<p>Katelyn Johnson\u2019s 2-year-old son Pierce was chased around the daycare by the masked worker, as another grownup laughed and encouraged her.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s no excuse for it,\u201dJohnson stated.<\/p>\n<p>One of the workers involved wrote a tearful apology to his employer on social media. \u201cIf I could take it back, I would,\u201dShe said.<\/p>\n<p>Workers could be sentenced to jail if they are convicted.<\/p>\n<h2><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Five daycare workers are facing criminal charges after being seen in videos circulating on social media this month frightening children with a scary mask.\u00a0 It took place at Hamilton&#8217;s Lil\u2019 Blessings Learning Center.
