WHATSAPP is working on loads of new features \u2013 and we’ve picked three of the biggest to share.<\/p>\n

We can’t predict when all these new WhatsApp hacks are going to arrive but they’re all under development or in testing right now.<\/p>\n

WhatsApp Communities<\/h2>\n

One of the most popular chat apps is always adding new features.<\/p>\n

Communities are basically big groups that contain\u00a0WhatsApp\u00a0group chats within them.<\/p>\n

The brand new feature called Communities has\u00a0been in development for months.<\/p>\n

Each Community is like one giant “group”You can use your existing WhatsApp Groups.<\/p>\n

Groups are one of the most popular ways to chat inside the\u00a0Facebook-owned\u00a0app.<\/a><\/p>\n

But having multiple Groups can sometimes be chaotic \u2013 and hard to keep track of.<\/p>\n

It will be possible to send multiple messages at once when it is fully implemented.<\/p>\n

One example is a Work Community which could include many smaller groups.<\/p>\n

Maybe your local area has a community that divides into different groups to discuss neighborhood issues and schooling.<\/p>\n

Sadly\u00a0Meta-owned WhatsApp hasn’t confirmed when this feature will roll out to the general public.<\/a><\/p>\n

You can hide your online status<\/h2>\n

WhatsApp is currently testing an option that allows you to hide your online status.<\/p>\n

The game-changing feature \u2013 dubbed “stealth mode” by fans \u2013 will let you use the app in secret.<\/p>\n

You can’t hide that you’re online at the moment.<\/p>\n

You can only conceal your identity. “Last Seen” status.<\/p>\n

The app beta is still in development.<\/p>\n

The new feature will be available in Settings > Privacy > Last Seen & Online.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, it is not certain that you will be able use it even on beta.<\/p>\n

WhatsApp has been criticised in the past for not allowing users to hide their online statuses on the\u00a0app.<\/p>\n

This is a good thing.<\/a><\/p>\n

Save deleted texts<\/h2>\n

WhatsApp is also working on a way for you to save messages that were about to disappear.<\/p>\n

The clever trick would work with automatically-deleting WhatsApp messages.<\/p>\n

And it would let users exempt certain texts so that they don’t vanish \u2013 an important\u00a0WhatsApp warning.<\/p>\n

These messages that are saved will be saved in a special area within the app called Kept Messages.<\/p>\n

This feature is currently being worked on for the WhatsApp beta version.<\/p>\n

This version only allows group administrators to maintain or update messages within groups.<\/p>\n

How to get WhatsApp beta<\/h2>\n

You can download WhatsApp beta on your smartphone by going to\u00a0Google<\/a>\u00a0Play on your\u00a0Android<\/a>\u00a0and search for WhatsApp.<\/p>\n

Scroll down until you find it “Become a Beta Tester”.<\/p>\n

Tap the “I’m In”Click on the button and then click “Join”Click here to confirm.<\/p>\n

You will now need to wait for an update to the beta version.<\/p>\n
