The MCU boasts a bold and beloved array of superheroes in its arsenal, whether that’s Doctor Strange or Captain Marvel.

Ever since the cinematic universe debuted with Jon Favreau’s Iron Man in 2008, there has been an excitement for how Spider-Man would be reimagined. Finally, patience was rewarded with Tom Holland’s Spidey debut in Captain America: Civil War.

Since then, there have been three solo vehicles and we now have a re-release of the third, Spider-Man: No Way Home: The More Fun Stuff Version.

It opened in theaters on Friday, September 22nd 2022 and is enticing fans with new material.

Spider-Man: No Way Home re-release runtime

No Way Home: The More Fun Stuff Version has a runtime of 159 minutes.

The original theatrical cut came in at a shorter 148 minutes, with the re-release offering MCU fans an additional 11 minutes of never before seen footage.

A handful of scenes featured in the theatrical are extended with some extra dialogue. On the other hand, arguably the most exciting element of the re-release is the fact that we get a new post-credits scene.

You may remember going to watch the theatrical and seeing the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness trailer premiere at the very end of the credits. Of course, there’s no sense in showing the trailer to a film already released.

So, there’s an enlightening extra scene added that somewhat clears up the confusion that lingered after No Way Home was first released.

What’s left in MCU Phase Four?

It’s been a colossal phase of the MCU as Marvel Studios has branched out into a string of Disney+ shows, from WandaVision to She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

As it approaches a close, let’s consider what shows and movies remain until Phase Five picks events back up again:
