Orphan<\/em>The 2009 horror film starring Isabelle Fuhrman, Vera Farmiga and others was a suspense-filled thriller that shocked audiences. It also managed to become a cult favorite and a financial success. Legendary film critic Roger Ebert<\/a>In his review, writing, he gave it three-and a-half stars. “You want a good horror film about a child from hell, you got one.”Now, Esther (Fuhrman’s) story lives on in\u00a0Orphaned First Kill<\/em>… A bloody, twisty prequel which is more than worthy its predecessor’s legacy.<\/p>\n

The new film jumps back and recounts how Esther \u2014 whose real name is Leena Klammer \u2014 came to live in America, years before being adopted by Kate and John Coleman, played by Farmiga and Peter Sarsgaard in Orphan<\/em>. Leena, after a violent escape at the Saarne Institute Estonia, pretended to be Esther Albright. This is the missing child of Tricia Albright and Allen Albright. Julia Stiles & Rossif Sutherland portray it. Esther claims she was abducted and then raised in Russia by her Russian abductor. First Kill<\/em>The Albrights welcome their child back and attempt to heal any emotional or mental trauma she suffered during her captivity. Similar to the original film’s mother, Stiles begins to suspect that Esther is suffering from some sort of mental and emotional trauma. Esther feels as though she can only protect her secret with all means.<\/p>\n
