{"id":121981,"date":"2022-07-31T15:26:55","date_gmt":"2022-07-31T09:56:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/centralrecorder.com\/why-taron-egerton-chose-not-to-play-a-young-han-solo-video\/"},"modified":"2022-07-31T15:27:52","modified_gmt":"2022-07-31T09:57:52","slug":"video-taron-egerton-decided-not-to-play-young-han-solo-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/centralrecorder.com\/video-taron-egerton-decided-not-to-play-young-han-solo-video\/","title":{"rendered":"Video: Taron Egerton Decided Not to Play Young Han Solo (Video)."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div>\n<p>Taron Egerton, who was in the running to play a young Han Solo in 2018\u2019s prequel \u201cSolo: A Star Wars Story,\u201dIt was revealed that he \u201cremoved himself\u201d from the project because he just couldn\u2019t see himself in the part. <\/p>\n<p>A recent appearance on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/podcasts.google.com\/feed\/aHR0cHM6Ly9mZWVkcy5tZWdhcGhvbmUuZm0vaGFwcHlzYWRjb25mdXNlZA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Happy Sad Confused\u00a0podcast<\/a>, Egerton told host Josh\u00a0Horowitz that he got as far as getting in full costume and boarding the Millennium Falcon with Chewbacca, but it just didn\u2019t feel right.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ll be honest, I got on the Falcon. I was with Chewie. I was in the full costume,\u201d Egerton said. \u201cI\u00a0felt like I got there, I did it, I lived it.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"tpd-read-more-container\" style=\"border-top:1px solid #e0e0e0;border-bottom:1px solid #e0e0e0; padding-top:15px;padding-bottom:15px; display:flex;margin-bottom:1.5em;margin-top:1.5em;\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/centralrecorder.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/1657707165_587_So-Kamala-Isnt-Just-a-Djinn-Shes-Also-SPOILER.jpg\" alt=\"Alden Ehrenreich Joins Marvel\u2019s \u2018Ironheart\u2019 Series\" style=\"position: absolute;top: 0;left: 0;width: 100%;height: 100%;-o-object-fit: cover;object-fit: cover;\" title=\"\"><\/p><\/div>\n<p>And while that was great, he just wasn\u2019t dying to play our favorite space smuggler. \u201cYou know when we mentioned earlier, that thing when I\u00a0read the\u00a0\u2018Kingsman\u2019\u00a0script and I was like, \u2018I\u2019ve gotta do this.
